In addition to the communications tools we've created for your use, the It All Adds Up to Cleaner Air Web site also features a special area for "Exemplary Products." These creative, new products were developed by communities in different parts of the country using the It All Adds Up messaging. To see these materials, visit the Marketing Materials section of the Web site and click on "Exemplary Products."
We're always interested in the new materials developed by our Community Partners and would be delighted to post them on this section of the site. Please submit PDF versions of your customized materials by attaching them to the It All Adds Up Contact Us form. We will contact you to ask a few questions about how you use them, so we can post a description along with the materials on the site.
The Marketing Materials section of the web site also is the place to go to view and pick up the tools that were originally developed for the It All Adds Up to Cleaner Air program. These materials and those developed by our Community Partners can help leverage your limited resources, and have already been proven to attract the attention of the media and drivers. Two popular marketing tools recently added to the site are the summer flash animation and a summer online quiz. If you'd like to add either of these to your web site, please visit the It All Adds Up Web site's Content for Your Web Site section and download them.
In many cases, you can easily add your organization's logo to customize It All Adds Up materials. If you need assistance or would like us to customize our print materials or flash animation for your use, please send us a request using our online order form. If you'd prefer to customize the materials yourself, simply place your order.
Many Community Partners have already customized the It All Adds Up materials for their own use. Here are just a few examples:
- The Central Florida Clean Air Team in Orlando, FL used the spring materials during the kickoff of their summer ozone education program and May 2003 Clean Air Month activities; produced a banner including the It All Adds Up logo to use at events for years to come; customized several of the It All Adds Up print ads for the weekly Orlando Times and the monthly Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce's First Monday newspapers; used the spring materials as the basis for a feature story on air quality issues in First Monday; and translated four of the print ads for La Prensa, the local Spanish newspaper. METROPLAN ORLANDO, the local MPO, also coordinated special rates and schedules to pay for the local cable TV station and two radio stations to run the It All Adds Up broadcast ads.
- Sara O'Keefe, Communications Manager at the Regional Air Quality Council in Denver, CO, customized one of the It All Adds Up spring-theme print ads and displayed it at a local organic foods store to advertise the Gas Cap Fairs that her group held on April 12 and April 26.
- Shannon Edwards from the Worcester Transit Authority in Worcester, MA customized the It All Adds Up live-read radio ads and worked with two local radio stations to have them played on-air.
- Kathy McGuire and Maurizia Chapman at the Fayetteville MPO in Fayetteville, NC, used the It All Adds Up TV and radio ads in their May 2003 Clean Air Month kick-off event; handed out the 10 Simple Steps flyer at community festivals and events; organized a 2-3 minute air quality education segment for a local cable TV station during which the Ten Simple Steps were discussed; and linked their Web site to the spring flash animation.
- Gena McCullough, Planning Director at the Bi-State Regional Commission in Rock Island, IL, customized the print ads and placed them in two local newspapers, the Quad City Times and the Dispatch Argus. She also coordinated with two local radio stations to play the radio ads and linked the Commission's Web site to the It All Adds Up online quiz.
