The It All
Adds Up to Cleaner Air Pooled Fund
Program (PFP) is a simple solution to
a complex problem. State, local and
federal agency budgets are tightening,
yet air quality and traffic congestion
challenges are growing. By enabling
organizations to combine funds, the
PFP can provide the necessary resources
for a second generation of It All
Adds Up to Cleaner Air messages
and materials. This approach has several
benefits for participating organizations,
including:
Participants may designate someone
to the PFP Steering Committee, which
gives that organization a seat at the
table and provides an excellent opportunity
to ensure that the campaign is of utmost
value to their organization. Steering
Committee members will:
- Have direct involvement in the research,
development and testing of the new
messages.
- Oversee development of the creative
materials that will be used to deliver
the messages.
- Have the opportunity to collaborate
with It All Adds Up corporate
partners who could, in turn, support
members’ local activities.
By providing federal, state and local
agencies with an opportunity to combine
their resources, the PFP also will help
participants save money on developing
creative materials, and free up funds
for promotion and placement. For a modest
investment, members will receive high-quality
ads and communications tools that build
on the principles and success of the
It All Adds Up to Cleaner Air
initiative. Members also will gain all
of the resources and benefits of a national
program – without the tedious
demands of contract administration.
The federal partners bring the knowledge,
experience and commitment they have
developed over almost 10 years through
their work on the It All Adds Up
initiative. Without a new generation
of It All Adds Up to Cleaner Air
messages and materials, many states
and communities are likely to spend
valuable time and resources on researching,
developing, and testing their own messages
and materials. PFP members have the
opportunity to collaborate with the
federal agencies and demonstrate a commitment
that is important to their stakeholders
and citizens. The PFP will ensure that
a national program is available to communities
around the country. |
